Fitness-Yes! Here are some keys to success:
-Prepare your body to exercise so you have the energy to exercise.
Get at least 7 hours of sleep a night
Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
Eat as healthy as you possibly can everyday
Take vitamins if your doctor has prescribed them for you
-Identify your purpose for exercising & your exercise goals.
-Choose the best exercises for yourself based upon your age, medical conditions & fitness level.
-Use sunscreen if you exercise outdoors so the sun doesn’t stop you from exercising & doesn’t harm your skin.
-Exercise when your energy level is at its highest during the day. You know your body’s clock so you know when that is.
-Exercise by doing activities you like. If you don’t enjoy it, don’t do it.
-Hydrate during your workout or immediately after to replace lost fluids.
-Push yourself & say to yourself “COME ON!” or “KEEP GOING!”
-Get a workout buddy/partner for support if you want one.
-Get a personal trainer to coach & to cheer you on if you want one.
-Take your pet with you when you exercise because pets need exercise too.
-Use a fitness tracker to stay motivated.
-Change your exercise if boredom sets in.
-Improve your workout by finding tips on how to make it better.
-Reward yourself for exercising & get yourself some great workout gear.
-Take an exercise break at work & go for a walk. Also, use the fitness room at work if it is provided to you as a job perk.
-Stay committed & exercise everyday or only take one day off a week from exercise.
-Exercise when you are on vacation to keep your body conditioned.
-Exercise for free by doing exercise that doesn’t cost you anything then decide if you really want to pay for that gym membership or buy that home gym equipment.
-Split up your workout so you do half of it in the AM & half of it in the PM as an alternative way to keep your metabolism up.
-Don’t exercise right before bed or you won’t be able to fall asleep.
