It’s Superhuman Day to recognize those with disabilities and the obstacles they have overcome. What a coincidence. I think someone read my book. Take a look. This is what my Body Passport book says:
Preferred parking spaces are reserved for those who are superhuman. All disabled and handicapped people are superhumans because they’re the toughest humans on the planet. They have to work twice as hard to compensate for their limitations. Those with disabilities are the real tough guys and gals, and they know it. They’re tough. Don’t even think about taking their parking spot.
Also, as a reminder, avoid using any common slang terms such as “retarded” i.e. “That’s so retarded” since it is offensive.
Finally, support and encourage these superhumans as they go on to prove “Yes I Can.” To those of you with disabilities, keep up your amazing achievements!
